Joy in the Harvest A ladies Bible study group has selected “Joy in the Harvest” as their Kingdom Assignment. One of the ladies in the group recently returned from a missionary trip to Tanzania in Africa, having visited an orphanage with 60 children living there. These children have meals consisting of a thin porridge in the morning, a meal of rice in the early afternoon and a small snack at bedtime. The orphanage is run by a nun and one man and had once been supported by a church organization that has since quit funding it. The nun has been buying sugar using her own money for the past several months. Our group of ladies are praying that their “seed money” can provide food, kerosene, soap, and hopefully for a doctor to see the children. They would also love to raise enough money to purchase a bale of clothing for the children. Contact us if you would like to partner with these women in this special endeavor. E-MAIL RESPONSE
