Types of Small Groups

 

These groups are formed by those with similar interests, characteristics, or life situations.  Some examples of these types of groups are Single Moms, Promise Keeper groups, and adult volleyball.

 

 

These groups usually meet in homes and generally focus on Bible study and spiritual maturity.  These groups are places where the truth of God’s Word meets people where they are in their “real life.” 

 

 

These groups are there to strengthen and support each other in special ways.  Some examples of   these groups are the Celebrate Recovery groups and Divorce Care (men and women).

 

 

 

These groups exist primarily to accomplish a certain task or ministry.  Some examples of these types of groups are Rays of New Hope, Frontline Ministries, and the Praise Winds.
