PURSUE GOD. BE THE CHURCH.
Our Vision for Families
At New Hope, our ministry to families is built around the principle that God designed parents to be the primary spiritual influence/leader in the life of their child(ren). Our programs are designed to reinforce this principle for both children and parents. Click the link below to learn more about this vision.
Sunday (Kids' Worship) @ 9:00a & 10:45a
Wednesday (Kid Connect) @ 6:30p during school year
Our goal for families is that parents develop within their children a foundation of God-spoken truths that will prepare them for their next season of life. To help with this, we offer programming that allows the church to come along side parents, providing them with the tools and tips they need to have gospel-oriented conversations with their children.
In middle school, many students begin to find themselves faced with questions and life circumstances previously hidden from their view. Because of this, we believe it is healthy to see students start asking questions about the meanings of their faith. At New Hope, our goal is to reinforce the teachings of parents; helping students begin to understand the meaning of what they previously learned while giving them guided opportunities to live out their faith.
Sunday (Bible Study) @ 9:00a
Wednesday (Collide Jr.) @ 6:30p during school year
Collide Jr. is a ministry geared towards middle school students. With a combination of games, a large group lesson, and small group discussion, students are given the opportunity to grow in their faith as they ask questions, challenge each other, and share their faith with peers.
Most high school students experience a type of freedom that was still absent during middle school. In this freedom, the voice of popular culture calls students towards immediate pleasure and personal satisfaction. This, however, is the opposite of what Jesus calls us to and it ultimately does not lead to real and lasting satisfaction. Instead, we are most satisfied when God is most glorified through us. At New Hope, our goal is to support parents in this critical season of life. We want to work in conjunction with parents to see high school students begin to seek after God and His leading in deeper personal devotion to him; our goal is to see students choose Jesus.
Sunday (ROOTED) @ 9:00a - 10 week session 2x a year (Starting Mid-January & Early-September)
Wednesday (Collide) @ 6:30p during school year
Collide is a ministry geared towards high school students. With a combination of social time, worship, a large group lesson, and small group discussion, students are given the opportunity to grow in their faith as they ask questions, challenge each other, and share their faith with peers.
Tuesday @ 6p - in the MCC cafeteria
College Students are at a unique crossroads in life. You are asking big, life-altering questions of yourself. What do I do? Where do I live? Who do I marry? And a lot of times it is without the comfort of your family for the first time in your life. Come meet with other college students on Tuesday Nights at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria of MCC. We will eat a free meal and read what the Bible has to say about some of these big questions.
Parents & Adults
We all wish that parenting and adulting were easy. However, they're usually not. Through various seasons in life, we find new opportunities for growth and ministry standing in front of us - adoption, parenting a new child, recovering from an addiction, sharing our faith, etc. The challenge for us is learning how to respond faithfully so that we allow God to bring about the good that he intends. Corporate worship and various training courses are meant to encourage and equip parents and adults to live with and for Jesus inside and outside their homes.
